Odor Masters
has expanded over the years at the behest of our clients
to include a wide range of services. Our goal regardless
of type of service provided is to complete our job with
the least amount of discomfort to the resident.
Duct Cleaning/Sanitizing
Odor Masters uses the “Rotobrush” system.
This system is self contained, with spinning brushes
that are controlled by the technician, pulling dust
directly into a series of HEPA filters. This type of
service should be performed yearly for allergy sufferers
or once every three years for dust management. Sanitizing
is usually associated with allergy sufferers. A protein
counteractant is applied though an atomizer directly
into the main intake. This solution is designed to kill
residual airborne contaminants.

Deodorizing
Pet odors, smoke odors, protein odors (spoiled food,
meats etc.) smelly used cars. We can remove these odors
with a wide range of chemical treatments each designed
for the specific odor. All solutions are EPA approved
and are biodegradable. Odor Masters uses black lights
to locate and identify quantities of urine so we can
make the right recommendation to our clients.

Crime-Scene Clean-up
Unfortunately this is a dirty job but someone has to
do it. Crime scenes, i.e. homicides, suicides and deaths
from natural causes can leave behind a large amount
of unidentified bodily fluids containing all kinds of
bacteria including HIV, AIDS & Hepatitis just to
name a few. This type of clean-up requires special handling.
Odor Masters is discreet and professional, we realize
this is a tough experience for all involved and are
sensitive to the situation.

Meth-lab Clean-up
Extremely hazardous, methamphetamine labs are never
set up by professionals. Improper handling of substances
such as red phosphorus and/or ether can cause explosions.
(Quick tip: red phosphorus when airborne will oxidize
door knobs and cabinet hardware turning them green)
This type of situation requires fully encapsulated suits,
respirators gloves and protective eye wear.

Inspections
Odor Masters performs home inspections with the sole
purpose of identifying trapped moisture issues, mold
growth and any/all types of bio-hazards including sewer
gasses, pigeon infestation and many more. We use the
latest meters available. Each meter has a different
purpose from measuring gas in the air to identifying
trapped moisture in sheetrock, baseboards and behind
all types of tile. Every inspection comes with a written
report stating our findings and recommendations where
needed.

Remediations
Remediation comes from the word, REMEDY, to put right!
Most remediations are simple. Regardless of weather
we are dealing with mold growth, pigeons, or asbestos,
the guidelines are easily interpreted. The quantity
of contaminated materials dictates the size of the containment
area and the number of negative pressure machines required
to perform the abatement. Once all contaminated materials
have been removed any structural material should be
sealed with EPA approved encapsulate. Once the remediation
is complete a second inspection is performed to make
sure all efforts have been made to address the situation
and the residence meets EPA requirements and Nevada
Revised Statute 118A.290.

Air sampling
In certain situations, post remediation sampling is
sometimes recommended for the purpose of comparing indoor
readings with outdoor readings; however Odor Masters
will only make this recommendation when large amounts
of visible discoloration is present (more than 20sqaure
feet) or when the contaminated materials have been disturbed
prior to the remediation process. Sampling prior to
abatement to find out the type of mold is more often
than not a waste of money, since regardless of the results
the remediation process remains the same.

Dryer Vent Cleaning
From time to time too much lint can gather in your dryer
lines. This can slow down the drying process and potentially
cause a fire. This type of service should be performed
regularly to insure dryer performance.
