Just my opinion...

Having been in this business for almost 17 years, we have seen and been involved in a wide range of bacteria related situations.

At this point in time due to several widely publicized mold related cases, most residents around the United States seem to be in a tizzy in regard to mold related issues. It's not the homeowner's fault! Unfortunately most residents base their assumptions on what they see in the media (usually the worst case scenario).

There is no question that mold is inherently bad in large quantities and in some circumstances may require special handling during the removal process. However, let's try and keep things in perspective and avoid getting taken to the cleaners. Moving the family into a tent in the front yard is rarely one of my recommendations!

Based on the KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID or KISS theory, mold remediation can be interpreted as follows: "REMOVE WHAT YOU CAN AND SEAL WHAT CAN'T BE REMOVED, CONTAIN IF NECESSARY! THAT'S IT."
