• Once a fresh leak has been discovered, notify Odor Masters within 24 hours so an inspection can be performed in order to identify all troubled spots.
• Since it takes mold 7 to 10 days to incubate and grow it is not always necessary to classify these situations as emergencies.
  Odor Masters will mark all areas that should be removed in order to prevent mold growth.
• A report will be furnished specifying our findings.
  

Old Leaks – Visible Mold

• Once an old leak or visible mold has been discovered, notify Odor Masters within 24 hours so an inspection can be performed in order to identify all troubled spots.
  
• Although there might be the presence of visible mold, unless agitated there is usually no immediate health risk.
  
• Once the inspection has been performed, a report will be furnished explaining the correct procedure for removal.
  
• Odor Masters is equipped and trained to handle the abatement process.
  
• Since we are dealing with visible mold there are situations that might require relocating the occupant during abatement.
  
• After all work has been done, Odor Masters will recheck moisture levels. If all readings are normal the residence will be release for reinstallation.
  

It is not always necessary to take air samples because regardless of the results, the abatement procedure remains the same.

There are no definitive studies showing what levels of mold are considered a health risk, however, we do know that most molds are not harmful until agitated and allowed to go airborne.
